It was a historic day for the Lyndonville High wrestling program as the Recco brothers, Sammy and Tony, became the Tigers first ever state wrestling champions on the same evening at the 2012 state championships in Albany.

Tony, a freshman, became Lyndonville’s first state mat champion when he captured the 99 lb. title with a narrow 1-0 decision win over Nick Casella of Locust Valley.
