Clarence G. Schuler, 88, of the Town of Murray passed away Jan. 11, 2022 at Unity Hospital.  He was born Oct. 23, 1933 in Rochester, a son of the late Clarence W. and Mildred Schuler and had lived in this area most of his life.

Clarence had served in the U.S. Navy during Korea.  He was a volunteer fireman for the Fancher-Hulberton-Murray Fire Company.  Clarence retired from Kodak where he worked as an electrician, and after, worked security for Pet Smart and Chase Bank in Brockport.

He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley and son, Timothy.  He is survived by his children: Debra Schuler Maynard, Karen Schuler (Raymond) Herrmann, William (Barbara) Schuler, Janet Schuler (John) Mignano; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frank S. Ranallo, Sr., was drop kicked by Jesus through the goalposts of life on Jan. 11, 2022 at the Orchard Manor Rehab & Nursing Center. If you know, you know.

Born on July 6, 1936 in Iona, Mich., Frank was the son of the late Salvatore “Sam” and Francis “Fran” (Trow) Ranallo. He was a graduate of Medina High School in the class of 1954. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1954 to 1957. Frank played for Medina MAAC Semi-Pro Football Team and was co-captain in 1960. Frank married the former Patricia A. Stupnick on Nov. 14, 1964, and they kicked butt in Euchre for nearly 57 years. In the early 1950’s the Ranallo family opened their first bowling center (4 lanes) on East Center St. On Fridays, Frank would hitchhike home from Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base, in North Carolina, so he could play football with the MAAC’s Saturday mornings and set pins at the lanes on Saturday nights. He would then hitchhike back on Sunday. In July 1961, Frank joined his family as an owner-operator of Ranallo’s Lanes (8 lanes) on North Main St. Finally, in 1986, the business moved to the Maple Ridge Road location, operating 20 lanes.

After retiring from the bowling lanes, Frank drove for Medina Taxi, where he enjoyed talking with patrons and maybe taking “a shortcut” a time or two. He was a lifelong member of Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion. He was an excellent bowler, even while in the service, and won many awards and competitions over the years. He loved his yard sales. A frequent family outing was to go “saling” with Frank so he could find more treasures to put in the basement. An avid fisherman, Frank also operated Frank’s Rod & Reel Repair.

If he didn’t know your name, you were Stosh or Gladys. If you bowled in a league, Frank treated you to a holiday drink of your choice – every person on every team for a week. He will be remembered by many for his big smile, delicious pizzas and burgers, great sense of humor, generosity, and even some legendary antics. “I’ll race you to the gas pumps and back. Winner buys a round for the bar.” Who remembers that one?!

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ranallo on Sept. 12, 2021; son, Frank S. Ranallo, Jr. on July 30, 2021; and sister, Barbara Ranallo on Dec. 8, 2016.

Fabulous Frank is survived by his daughters: Sandra (Barb Duckworth) Ranallo of Rochester, Pamela (Jim Cunningham) Ranallo of Boulder, Colo. and Christine (Mike Cassidy) Ranallo of Kent; grandson, Frank S. Ranallo III; sister, Janice (Carmen) Strianese; several beloved nieces and nephews; and many dear friends from the Ranallo’s Rockettes, Ranallo’s Muggers, and Frankie’s Foxes.

Lucretia J. Fraczak, of Medina, entered into rest peacefully on Sun., Jan. 9, 2022 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born on July 23, 1935 in Buffalo, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Nowak) Dujenski. Lucretia married Leonard S. Fraczak on Jan. 22, 1955 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Medina. They were lifelong residents of Medina and together raised a loving family of five children, whom she instilled a strong sense of faith, devotion, compassion, empathy and laughter. A devout Catholic, Lucretia was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church and upon its closing, was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Parish, St. Mary’s Church. She was a parish councilmember, taught religious education classes, was a member of the Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and was a Franciscan Sisters- St. Joseph Associate.

Lucretia worked for Rochester Products Division of General Motors for many years, where she was the first woman appointed to a management position as general foreman. She also volunteered at Medina Memorial Hospital and the Medina Central School District. She was part of the original crew that formed the Mustang Band Boosters, where she served as president and secretary. She even sewed the sequins on the original front banner and held VIP seats at the 50 yard line. Lucretia was a proud member of the Medina community and touched so many lives through her faithful acts of kindness, volunteer work and sincere friendships.

A mother and grandmother to many, even outside of her family, Lucretia was always there to give advice, lend an ear, say a prayer and for sure to make us laugh. She leaves behind a legacy of love and a lifetime of memories for her family and friends to cherish.

In addition to her parents, Lucretia joins in Heaven her beloved husband, Leonard Frazcak, who passed in 2000; son, Andrew Fraczak 2014; brother, Bernard Dujenski 1978; sister, Arlene Bensley 2019; and dear lifelong friend, Sister Presentia Stawicki 2020.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Virginia (Jeff) Klotzbach, Cynthia Hewitt, Christine (Michael) Biernacki and Clara (Howard) Lake; grandchildren: Kari Ann Hewitt, Krisha (Michael) Budner, Timothy (Nikki) Winans, Matthew Winans, Aubry (Aaron) Phillips, Zachary Baldwin, Jennifer (Justin) Webster, Alexander Baldwin, Steven Biernacki and Andi Lou Fraczak; seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Thomas Hewitt; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sun., Jan. 16 from 4-8 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Bernard Nowak on Mon., Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 211 Eagle St., Medina. Masks will be mandatory at both locations. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Bonnie Jean Renouf, 81, of San Antonio, Texas passed from this life Sun., Dec. 26, 2021.

Born March 23, 1940 in Middleport, NY, she was the first child and only daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Stanley. Bonnie graduated from Medina High School and Cazenovia College. Marrying 2nd Lieutenant Ronald Renouf in 1963, they lived and traveled the world together courtesy of the USAF. PCS orders relocated them around the USA and overseas to Okinawa and West Germany. Her favorite station was four years at Rhein Main AFB. While there, Bonnie managed the Wedgwood shop at the base exchange, a job she adored. She also traveled extensively across Europe with her family of five.

After twenty years of military life, Ron and Bonnie confirmed San Antonio would be their forever home. She was a medical transcriptionist at Nix Medical Center downtown until her retirement.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ronald Renouf; children: Jennifer (Michael) Thompson of Maple Valley, WA, Michael (Julie) Renouf of San Antonio and Cynthia (Jamie) Baumann of San Antonio; grandchildren: Parker and Colby Renouf, and Drew Gonzales.

Gladys N. Hopper, 71, of Albion passed away Jan. 6, 2022. She was born Sept. 25, 1950 in Albion, NY to the late Willard and Gladys (Watson) Bennett.

Gladys worked for many years for the Arc as an assembly line worker. In the early ’80s she also worked at the Orleans County Nursing Home in the laundry department. Gladys was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Orleans County Arc.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert, and several siblings. She is survived by her siblings: Roy, Willard, Kathy, and Julie; as well as many friends and people who loved her.

KENDALL – Robert E. Furness, 92, passed away suddenly January 6, 2022. He was born January 1, 1930 in Albion, a son of the late Claude and Elvira (Wright) Furness.

Bob graduated from Kendall High School, Class of 1948. After graduation, Bob went to work for Eastman Kodak and was drafted to serve in the United State Marines, during the Korean War, stationed in Japan. After the war, Bob went back to work for Eastman Kodak Co., where he retired from after 37 years of service.

Bob was an active member and Trustee at the Gaines Carlton Community Church. He was also active in the community being a member of the Kendall Lions Club and Kendall Fire Co. Bob enjoyed baseball, fishing, golf and hunting. He was a handyman, always helping someone fix something.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Diane; children, Michael Furness, Dawn (Bob) Gaylord and Tim (Theresa) Furness, former exchange student, Sue Chadwick-Brettle; grandchildren, Kristina (Shane) Nesbitt, Sarah (Justin) Collyer, Jason Gaylord, Keri, Madelyn and Isabella Furness and Katie (Ryan) Brock; great-grandchildren, Owen, Brody, Kendyl, Kinsley and Sutton; siblings, Kenneth (late Judy) Furness, Julia (DeForest) Bragg, Nancy (Ronald) Coyle and Annmarie (David) Gonyeau; sisters-in-law, Madge (William) Doty and Midge (late Charles) Warren; 4 step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

ALBION – Anthony M. Massaro, 77, of Ormond Beach, FL, was called home on January 7, 2022 after a long battle with heart disease. He is the son of the late Anthony and Alice (Monacelli) Massaro.

Tony followed in his father’s footsteps and went into the Army from 1967-1970 during the Vietnam War. He earned the Army Commendation Medal as well as several awards given during his service.

Tony is known locally as a business owner and was an active part of the revitalization of downtown Albion in the 1980s. He owned and operated Hair Fantasy, Shining Tanning Salon, Slender Images – all three were located in Albion and Medina. He had a passion for hair and regularly was trying out new cuts and color techniques on his wife Cathy.

Tony also owned Your Video, having locations in Albion, Medina, Lyndonville and Middleport. His businesses were ahead of its times in most cases. Hair Fantasy was the first licensed unisex salon in Orleans County and he opened the first tanning salon in the county as well. During his time as a hair dresser, he worked with the BOCES cosmetology and would hire graduates of the program and mentor them into professionals, many of whom opened their own businesses after his retirement. Tony was a very generous and giving man. He would do anything for anyone and was always giving back to his community.

After transitioning into semi-retirement, he decided to pursue getting his motorcycle license and being driven to be the first in many things this continued into this new area. He decided to build a totally custom bike from the ground up. This creation was named Fire Wind. He merged two of nature’s powerful forces into his bike. While building this bike he turned many things upside down as far as what was. After displaying his bike at the Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Shows in 1997, he won an all-expense paid trip to Essen Germany to show his bike on a worldwide stage. This would start a whole new passion. He eventually became the Director of Judges for Rat’s Hole. Judging bikes at the Daytona Bike week and out in South Dakota for the Rat’s Hole organization. He had friends that he would speak to regularly in Germany as well around the world after meeting them in Germany. He enjoyed traveling and continued work as Director of Judges right up until the Daytona Bike Week last spring.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Cathy (Cusimano) Massaro in 2015 and his custom bike builder friend, Cryil Huze.

He is survived by his sons, Michael of Albion and Marc Massaro of Medina/FL as well as his grandson, Peter Massaro of Albion; his brother, John (Jane) Massaro of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and close friends, Brenda and Jack Deagazio; as well as friends in countless number and fellow bike enthusiasts.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave. Albion, on Sun., Jan. 16 from 1-4 p.m.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be Mon., Jan. 17 at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Parish.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.

BARRE – Alice (Baker) Auman, 83, passed away with her family at her side on January 7, 2022. She was born April 14, 1938 in Albion to the late Gordon and Dorothy (Dawley) Baker.

Alice loved to cook, garden and crochet and was an active member of the Middleport United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2013.

Alice is survived by her children, Debra (Terry) Crapanzano, Michael L. (Tracy) Cliff, Donna (Robert Williams) Auman and Denise (Jeff) McDonald; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Daisy Brew; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernice L. Embt, 99, of Albion passed away Jan. 7, 2022 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion. She was born March 26, 1922 in Mendon, NY to the late Henry and Gertrude (Klink) Heineman.

Bernice was a member of the West Barre United Methodist Church, Past President of the Orleans County Cattleman’s Association Auxiliary, and charter member of the Barre Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time fishing and traveling with her late husband Everett.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Everett; brothers: Carl and Henry Heineman; and sister, Marie Cotton.

Bernice is survived by her daughters: Betty (Harold) Hazel of Barre, Ruthe (James) McKoy of Ariz.; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Farley of Geneseo; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Luella J. Caleb, 92, of Medina entered into rest peacefully on Wed., Jan. 5, 2022 at the Orchard Rehab & Nursing Center.

Born on April 1, 1929 in Kent, Luella was the daughter of the late Lawrence Gray, Sr. and Genieve (Erway) Gray. She was a graduate of Medina High School. Born with a strong work ethic, Luella worked various jobs over her life including at the Knowlesville Hotel and Blissett’s Specialty Shop in Medina. Later in life she worked as a home health aide for years taking care of many of the elderly in our community, a job she sincerely enjoyed. Luella took care of others up until she herself needed some caring in recent years with the diagnosis of dementia. Throughout life she was always one to help in any way that she could, albeit in her “no-nonsense” approach.  Even when living in the nursing home, Luella would often help the nurses with their daily tasks. Aside from work, Luella was an avid bowler and competed in state-level competitions. She also enjoyed golfing and loved watching the Buffalo Bills. Luella was a proud member of the Mustang Band Boosters and was also a member of the Moose Club.

ALBION – Larie G. Vagg, 88, passed away January 6, 2022 following a long illness. Larie was born January 15, 1933 in Barre Center, a son of the late Wilbur and Eleanor (Sibley) Vagg.

Larie served in the United States Air Force for 40 years, serving in Korea and Vietnam, retiring January 15, 1993 with the rank of Senior Master Sargent. He was an avid car collector and was a member of numerous Auto Clubs. Larie was a well known Master Carpenter in the area and always had a smile and willing to tell a story or joke. He was a charter member of the Barre Fire Co. and a long-time member of the Albion Odd Fellows Lodge.

Larie was predeceased by his son, Gregory and sister, Delores Lowman.

He is survived by his children, Susan (Raymond) Emerson and James (Lorri) Vagg; grandchildren, Robert (Aleena) and Steven Emerson, Nicolas (Brooke), Gabrielle and Erica Vagg; great-grandchildren, Cameron,  Arabella, Greyson and Lindsay; longtime loving companion, Rita M. Dumont; sister, Donna (James) Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 W. Avenue on Monday Jan. 10, from 3 to 7 p.m. Larie’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Richard R. Stalker, 86, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Jan. 5, 2022 at the Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born on Oct. 9, 1935 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late George and Carrie (Santimaw) Stalker.

Richard graduated from Lyndonville High School in 1953 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. On returning home, he was employed by NY Telephone and retired after 39 years of service. He married the former Linda Hass and together they raised 3 children in Lyndonville, NY.  Richard was a life-long member of the Lyndonville United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Butts-Clark Post #204. In his spare time he enjoyed playing euchre and making jigsaw puzzles and was a diehard New York Yankees and avid Buffalo Bills fan. Mostly Richard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Stalker; daughter, Julie (Michael) Paul of Medina; grandchildren: Jennifer and Jason Stalker and Aidan and Addison Paul; sister-in-law: Patricia (Kent) Johnson of Canandaigua and Marti-Jean (Thomas) Reed of Victor; many nieces and nephews.

Richard was the last remaining sibling of the Stalker family. He is predeceased by his siblings: Mildred Bane, George, Wayne, Alan, Glenn and Don; and his sons: Jeffrey and James.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the Lyndonville United Methodist Church at a later time in the spring. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery with full military honors.

Lynne Lou Ambrose, 77, of Medina NY, passed away Mon., Jan. 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on May 27, 1944 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Byron and Martha (Thomas) Weller.

Lynne graduated from Royalton Hartland High School in 1962. She married James R. Ambrose Sr. on Nov. 26, 1966 and together they raised four children.  She loved her grandchildren and loved to follow them in their sports careers.  She loved to make clothes for them and she loved to knit, making dishcloths and towels.

Lynne was a member, Deacon and Elder at The First Presbyterian Church in Medina, where she received awards for the work she did at the church.  She was an active member of the community choir and a local board member with Women’s Aglow. Lynne was a bus driver for Head Start and the Medina Central School System as well as a Teacher’s Aide for Medina.

Lynne is survived by her husband of 55 years James R. Ambrose Sr., children: Leslie (William) Saj, James R. (Lynn) Ambrose Jr., Heather (Mark) Dempsey, Adam Ambrose; grandchildren: CJ (Ariel) Ambrose, Hannah Saj, Emma (Mitchell) Wolter, Matthew Saj, Corey Saj, Ethan Dempsey, Jameson Dempsey; and  great-grandchildren: Nathan Hoffmeister and Kavik Ambrose.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers: Bruce and Van Weller; and inlaws Frank and Eva (Yanko) Ambrose.

David P. Allport, 77, of Jasper, Arkansas died Dec. 27, 2021. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Milford Allport previously of Jasper, Arkansas; a brother Terry Allport of Holley, NY; and a grandson Jeremy Allport of Dallas, Texas.

Survivors include his daughter Kimberly Campbell of Bellview, MO; sons: Kevin (Stacey) of Oregon; Kyle (Susan) of Oklahoma, and Keith of Bismark, MO; his sister, Sally Little (Dennis) of Wayton; and brothers Verne Allport (Sheila) of Albion, NY and Earle Allport of Eagle Harbor, NY; sister-in-law, Doris Allport of Holley, NY. Also left to mourn his passing are his many nieces/nephews, plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Many will remember the times “Half-pint” spent at the Newton County Senior Center. He also was a member of the American Legion and a trike club. His favorite activity was karaoke.

Memorial will be planned for a later date. Burial will be at Jasper Cemetery.

Pamela J. List, 66, of Albion passed away Jan. 4, 2022. She was born Nov. 3, 1955 to Ronald and Gloria (DiMarco) Cotorakas.

Pam loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved floating in the pool with her floaties on a nice summer day.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jeffrey Sr. in 2020; daughter, Tami List in 2016; and her mother, Gloria. Pam is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Pam) List, Jr.; grandchildren: Kate and Erin; sister, Linda Marcos; brother, Ronald (Heather) Cotorakas, Jr.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Pam will be held privately and at the family’s convenience.

Theresa Marie Karlak, of Albion, passed away tragically after being struck by a car on Sat., Jan. 1, 2022.  She was only 18 years old.

Theresa was born March 8, 2003, in the Town of Shelby, NY.  She was 1 of 10 children and was dearly loved by everyone who met her.  Her beautiful smile was so contagious, and it showed in her twinkling eyes.

She dreamt of being a veterinarian one day and traveling to Japan.  She loved Japan and wanted to live there when she grew up.  She also had dreams of being a flight attendant.  Although she was only 18, she worked 3 jobs because she was saving up to go to college.  She loved working and loved all the people she worked with dearly.  She was so excited to get up and go to work, especially Tim Hortons. “That’s my place” she always said.  If she could have worked there forever, she would have.

She was the sweetest, most innocent girl.  She found delight in the simplest pleasures.  She was so talented.  She loved drawing, painting, and had a great appreciation for art.  She enjoyed dancing, usually with an animal like her puppy.  She also enjoyed playing guitar, which her Grandpa taught her how to do, and she was very close to him.  He was so proud of her when she surprised him by playing “Happy Birthday” to him on his birthday.

She loved all her brothers and sisters and often brought home little treats for them.  She would take them on walks with her and little adventures.  They loved to be with her.  She was the type of person everyone loved to be with, and she was so full of happiness.  It was hard not to be happy when you were around her.  If you were ever upset, she would dance around you and poke fun until you were happy again.  She was always trying to get people to laugh, quite successfully.

She was taken away from us too soon.  Her life was just beginning, and she had so many dreams that will never be fulfilled.  There is an empty hole in our hearts from where she was taken.  She will never be forgotten.

Theresa is survived by her loving mother, Janece Karlak; 9 siblings: Sarah, David “Drake”, Christopher, Thomas, Adriana, Cecilia, Joseph, Benedict, and Emily Karlak; grandparents: Joseph and Mari Pusateri, and Leon and Rose Karlak; uncle Doug and aunt Chrissy Karlak; cousins: Samantha, Cosmas, Cyprian, Domenic, Peyton, and Kylie Karlak; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, Fri., Jan. 7, 4-7 p.m. where her Requiem Mass will be held on Sat., Jan. 8 at 12 p.m.  Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Bruce Michael Gregory, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 13, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on March 23, 1949 at Medina Memorial Hospital in Medina, NY, the son of Edmund and Beatrice (Shultz) Gregory.

Bruce was a graduate of Colgate University and went on to receive an MBA from University of New York at Buffalo.

Bruce had a long career as a Partner with Arthur Anderson in their Manhattan office. He later moved to Fort Worth, Texas and joined Deloitte (formerly Deloitte & Touche). In Fort Worth he met & married the love of his life, Elaine Rogers. Bruce and Elaine remained a loving and steadfast couple until his passing.

Bruce and his first wife, Patricia Anderson had two children, Christopher and Samantha, to whom he was a loving father, mentor and role model.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Carol and Betty. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; son Christopher Gregory; daughter, Samantha Daniel and husband, Jeff; stepson Jeffrey Michero and wife, Emily and their children: Quinton and Virginia; stepson, Christopher Michero and partner, Steven DePuy; brother, George Gregory and wife, Marianne; sister, Janet Albright and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private celebration of Bruce’s life at a later date.

Nancy L. “Nanny” Sager, 67, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Fri., Dec. 31, 2021 at the Unity Hospital of Rochester.

Born on June 26, 1954, Selinsgrove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Maurer) Moyer.

On Nov. 29, 1986, Nancy Married Thomas Sager and together they raised nine children. She attended Millville United Methodist Church and taking care of her grandchildren was her hobby. ”The grandchildren come first” was her motto.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas; children: Robin (Arthur) Kelley, Murrlene McKinney, Andrew (Marcy Lindsley) McKinney, Ashley (Joseph) Gates, Ciara (Tommy) Olsen, Michael McKinney, Kelsey McMullen, Damien Kososki; granddaughter, Kadinz, who was raised like a daughter; 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; siblings: Roger (Jane) Maurer, Linda Staats, Cathy Moyer, Marvin (Brenda) Moyer; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her siblings: Frank Moyer Jr. Dan Moyer and Robin Moyer.

Melissa S. “Missy” Young, 55, of Basom, NY, went to be with the Lord on Fri., Dec. 31, 2021 at Unity Hospital of Batavia.

Born on Feb. 26, 1966 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Burton E. and Joyce May (Burch) Stamp Sr.

Missy attended Lyndonville High School and worked various for various companies, including Ontario Foods. She was a member of the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church and liked anything lighthouses. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and three furry companions.

Melissa is survived by her children: Amandalynn McKenzie of Knowlesville, Scott E. McKenzie,  of Lyndonville, Elizabeth M. Hamby of Basom, Tracey M. Hamby of Silver Creek, NY, Samantha Barker of Basom and Randy Barker of Oakfield; grandchildren: Aiden M. Fairly, Haley E. Fairly, Alexis N. Fairly, Darrin M. Fairly, Leslie R. McKenzie, Trent M. Brege, Lilah J. Nuciola, Logan S. Allison and Levin D. Allison; siblings: Burton E. Stamp Jr. of Medina, Sharon (John) Maahs of Cleveland, TN, Yvonne (John) Sims of Medina, Denise (Bruno) Mangiola of Medina, Darryl (Tracey) Stamp Sr. of Johnson City, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; and her Fiancée, Todd Barker.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Darlene (Roosevelt) Little.

Relatives and friends may call on Sat., Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY 14103, where a memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. with the Pastor, Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
