William M. “Bill” Taylor
William M. “Bill” Taylor, 77, of Barker died Feb. 7, 2022 in Strong Memorial Hospital following a courageous 15-year long battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 15, 1944 in Bickmore, WV and had lived in this area for most of his life.
Bill was a member of the former Medina Moose Lodge, and a former member of the Somerset Conservation Club. He enjoyed hunting, professional wrestling, John Wayne movies and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor was predeceased by his parent, 1 brother and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Jean; children: Edward (Deborah) Taylor of Barker, Thomas (Diane) Taylor of Tenn., Cathy (Randy Brownlee) Morales of Appleton, 10 siblings, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Private service and interment in Somerset Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
