She loved to bake, cook and feed others – catering many bridal & baby showers, church coffee hours and cooking for the Albion Lions Club for many years.
Her passions extended beyond the kitchen; painting, sewing, crafting & gardening brought her great joy. The home on Caroline Street (62 years) was her pride and joy and she was often referred to as “Mrs. Clean” & “She Who Must Be Obeyed” keeping John busy with a never-ending Honey-Do list.
Those that knew her, know how much she loved color, long rides, picnics, chicken barbeques, shopping, long walks, spending time with family and giving and getting hugs.
She was courageous, strong willed, kind and compassionate and always greeted you with open arms. She will be missed in ways that cannot be imagined.

Warren D. Maynard Jr.

Warren is survived by his only son, Michael (Tammy) Maynard; brother, Mark (Dona) Maynard; sister, Aletamarie (Wayne) Martin; nephew, Jared (Megan) Maynard; niece, Dr. Sheena Maynard and his girlfriend, Peggy Coonrod.
He was born on April 7, 1955 to the late Warren and Beverly Maynard. He graduated from Kendall Jr/Sr High, class of 1974. Warren was very active in the community as the Kendall Recreation Director. He coached many teams over the years including the little league team, the cubs, as well as the Kendall Babe Ruth team.
He worked at Delco Products/Valeo where he formed many close friends. In more recent years he was an important part of the Circle R food truck where you could usually find him cooking. Warren took great pride in his standard bred horses earning him many championships over the years, both solo and with his father or other partners. Warren loved storytelling, whether it was about great times with friends, his horses or cherished family memories. He would have you in stitches in a matter of minutes. Nothing brought him more joy than to provide his friends and family with fresh eggs from his “girls” (chickens) or anything else he grew and harvested.
When Warren wasn’t working or tending his horses you could find him enjoying the slots at Batavia Downs, or playing golf in tournaments with his best buddies. Warren was well known for his compassion for others, witty sense of humor, and for his “deadeye” when putting in golf. He loved sports, especially hockey and baseball. He was an extremely supportive and loving father, brother and friend. His laughter and smile will be sorely missed by all.
The shock of his passing hit the family and his many friends very hard. He will be forever in our hearts. The outpour of condolences and love from everyone warren knew has been overwhelming, and it is comforting to know he touched so many lives. A celebration of life memorial service is being planned for June 18, 2022.
Warren’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Holley, NY.

Cherie Bane Cuadra
Cherie Bane Cuadra, 46, of Lockport, entered into rest unexpectedly with her fiancé, Joey by her side on Thu., Feb. 24, 2022.
Cherie was a daughter of Robert and the late Sharon (Hofert) Bane. She was born in Medina on April 17, 1975. Cherie was a very loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. After 26 years together, Cherie and her fiancé, Joey were planning to get married this coming April to solidify their love for one another. She always went above and beyond for people, even if it meant that she would go without. Cherie was a firm believer in that one’s past did not define a person. She never judged anyone. Whether a person or animal, Cherie was accepting with a warm heart and welcoming arms. She fed her neighborhood strays and provided them shelter in addition to her indoor cats, which she treated as if they were her children.
Cherie was predeceased by her mother, Sharon Bane; maternal grandparents, Francis and Betty Magner; paternal grandparents, Howard and Laura Bane; and her beloved great-aunt, Mary Boyland.

Two weeks before Cherie passed, she shared this quote on Facebook: “What made her brave is how she never stopped struggling with her own issues. She was fighting for her own life, still stepping up, going to the wall for others. All the while never saying a word about the war she was losing. She didn’t want to be remembered for her own battle, she wanted to be remembered for simple things like making someone smile or giving someone hope. She wanted more than anything to leave you a little better than you were before. I hope she did.”
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aspire Center for Learning, a disabilities service and support organization. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
