Adam Hildebrant

Adam Hildebrant, 30 of Dawsonville, Ga. (formerly of Batavia) passed away suddenly on Oct. 19, 2020. Adam was born on July 29, 1990 in Medina, NY to Penny (Stiver) and the late Douglas Hildebrant.

Adam was full of life and loved by everyone he met. He would do anything for anyone and had a heart of gold. He loved to fish and take nature walks when he got the chance. His sarcastic charm and love of life will be missed by everyone.

Adam was predeceased by his father, Doug; his paternal grandparents, Clair and Martha Hildebrant; his Aunts Linda Roll and Pauline Hildebrant; as well as his Uncle Darell Roll.

He is survived by his mother, Penny Hildebrant; maternal grandparents Raymond and Better Stiver; Uncles Bruce (Kerry) Stiver, Barney (Phyllis) Hildebrant, and Steve Hildebrant; siblings Stephanie (Hildebrant) Bedard, Erich (Amanda) Hildebrant, and Madeline Lancerio; nieces and nephews Joseph, Jacob, Jocelyn and Justin Bedard, Arianna and Gillian Hildebrant; as well as cousins Tori (Michael) Taddonio and Laci Stiver.

Shawn M. Ryan

Shawn M. Ryan, born Oct. 1, 1975 of Garner, NC – formally of Henrietta, NY – passed peacefully on Nov. 5, 2020.  Shawn was preceded by his mother, Carol Ryan, and his father, Charles Ryan. Shawn is survived by his brother Charles (Cathey) Scouten of Kansas; his sisters Joyce Futch of Albion, NY and Michelle (Greg) Putnam of Clayton, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Rest In Peace, Shawn. We love you.

Douglas John Hinkley

American flagDouglas John Hinkley, 47, of Brockport, NY, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sat., Oct. 31, 2020 at his home.

Born on Sept. 20, 1973 in Medina, NY, he was the son of Randall Hinkley and the late Barbara Rose (Brown) Hinkley.

Doug graduated from Albion High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Upon returning home, Doug worked locally as a carpenter and roofer. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Doug will be remembered as always giving a helping hand to anyone that asked.

Besides his dad, Doug is survived by his loving companion, Stacia; siblings: Scott Hinkley of Fla., Michelle Curtiss of Albion; son, Douglas Hinkley Jr.; many nieces and nephews ;and two furry companions, Jack & Jill.

Relatives and friends may call from 1-2 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 11, 2020 at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God, 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with the Pastor, Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. Private family burial will be held at the Mount Albion Cemetery.

Carol E. Sanders

Carol E. Sanders, 77, of East Shelby, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sun., Nov. 1, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

Born on Aug. 15, 1943 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Uella (Weaver) Austin. Carol married Ronald D. Sanders on April 7, 1961 and raised five children. She worked various jobs, including the Apple Grove, Fisher-Price and lastly as a Teachers Aid for the Medina School System.  During those times, she was also a full-time foster care mother to many children. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Club and enjoyed gardening, traveling and dancing, especially while camping. Carol loved the holidays because it was a time that brought the family together.

Carol is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald Sanders; children: Victoria White, Robin (Valerie) Sanders, all of Medina, Thomas (Jody) Sanders of Jacksonville, Fla.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Cindy Sanders of Medina; siblings: Kenneth (Julie) Ralph of Texas, Eddie Ralph of NC, Maryjane Kobylanski of NY, Pamela (Kevin) Pullen of Fla., David (Bernice) Austin of NY, Gayle Clynne of Minn., Julius Vercruysse of Texas, Charlene Rocatto of Buffalo; and sister-in-law, Roxanne Austin of Lockport.

Besides her parents, Carole is predeceased by two sons, Timothy Charles Sanders and Ronald Lloyd Sanders; brothers, Billy Ralph and Steven Austin.

Relatives and friends may call on Thu., Nov. 5, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 6 at the East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 E Shelby Rd., Medina, NY 14103 with the Pastor Erik Olsen officiating. Victor P. Crimi Jr.

(LOCKPORT/MEDINA) Victor P. Crimi Jr., 85, formerly of Medina, died Nov. 3, 2020 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital following a short illness.  He was born July 8, 1935 in Middleport to Victor and Madeline (LaMachia) Crimi, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Victor worked as the head custodian for the Medina Central Schools and was ordained as a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo on Oct. 19, 1986 after attending Christ the King Seminary.  In his role as Deacon, he served St. Mary’s Church in Gasport, St. Stephen’s Church in Middleport and St. Mary’s Church in Medina.  In later years he became a communicant at St. John the Baptist Church in Lockport.  Victor was also very active in the Office of the Chancery for the Diocese.

Mr. Crimi was predeceased by his parents, and a brother Vincent Crimi.  He is survived by his sisters: Mary Ann (William) Wanecski of Harpursville, NY and Elaine (Thomas) Domaracki Ryan of Lockport; as well as 4 nieces, 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, Fri., Nov. 5 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. only.  Family and friends are invited to attend Victor’s Mass of Christian Burial Fri., Nov. 5 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Parish, Medina.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery with Military Honors.  Please note the Funeral Home and the Church will be operating at 33% capacity per State guidelines.  New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Thomas. B. “Tom” Bringenberg, Jr.

American flag(Albion)  Thomas. B. “Tom” Bringenberg, Jr., 71, died Nov. 2, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Tom was born March 10, 1949 in Bethlehem, Pa., a son of Thomas B. and Irene (Roseman) Bringenberg, Sr. and had lived in this area for over 50 years.

Tom was a U.S. Navy Seabee, having served 2 tours of duty during Vietnam.  He was a member of the local V.F.W., American Legion and Holy Family Parish.  Tom was a Deacon for the Buffalo Diocese and served as Chaplain at the Orleans Correctional Facility for over 20 years.  He was a Boy Scout for many years, serving as Camp Director and serving on the Boy Scout Council as an executive for several years.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, doing karaoke and being a D.J.  Most of all Tom loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brothers Robert and David.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Suzanne; his mother Irene; his children: Elizabeth (Jerame) Weirich, Christine (Todd) Bringenberg, Thomas (Ashley) Bringenberg, III, Clancy; grandchildren: Hannah, Madelyn, Lily, Hazel, Thomas, IV; brothers: Richard (Esta Mae), Alan (Kelly); his sister, Sharon DeFrain; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion on Sun., Nov. 8 12-2 p.m.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be Mon., Nov. 9 at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, 106 S. Main St., Albion NY at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Pembroke National Cemetery summer of 2021.  Memorials may be made to Genesee-Orleans Ministry of Concern, 121 N. Main St. Suite 311, Albion, NY 14411.

Barbara Bancker Miller

Barbara Bancker Miller passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2020 at Rochester General Hospital.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Oct. 5, 1935 to Edward Malcolm and Evelyn Howard Bancker. She moved to Pittsford with her family in the 1940’s. Barbara graduated from Pittsford High School and earned a Biology degree from Skidmore College. She worked as a Medical Technologist in Rochester until she started raising her family – Karen (Shawn) Vick, Karla (Brian) Lissow, Jeanne Miller and Jay (Valerie) Miller.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Angus “Skip” Miller; and her beloved, Charlie Snow. In addition to her children, she is survived by her ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Edward (Penny) Bancker; four nephews; a niece and cousins.

Barbara had a quick wit, loved her flower gardens and feeding the birds. She faced many challenges in her life, and she inspired her children to challenge themselves to do their very best every day.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Villages at Unity.

A private family ceremony will be held at White Haven Memorial Park at a later date. Donations can be made to your charity of choice in memory of Barbara.

Karen R. Enderby

Karen R. Enderby, 78, of Medina entered into rest on Sun., Nov. 1, 2020 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born Aug. 3, 1942 in Fulton, NY she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Haskins) Rose. Karen was a first-grade teacher at the Oak Orchard Elementary School. She began her teaching career in 1964 and retired in 1999. She also mentored for five years after. She was a member of the Medina Teacher’s Association, the Retired Teacher’s Association, the Cotillion Club and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Karen was a member of the United Methodist Church in Medina, the Junior Wilson Sportsman’s Club and was a TWIG volunteer at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Karen enjoyed reading, watching a good movie, shopping, Monday’s with the Girls, and especially cooking and baking and was known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James F. Enderby of Medina; son, Robert (Marie) Arnold of Akron; daughter, Renée (Bob) Enright of Penfield; daughter in-law, Rachel Arnold of Fla.; grandchildren: Ryan, Kevin, Haley, Justin (Cameron), Evan, Mason, Mariah, Stephen, Kara and Darren; a sister, Suzanne Hendricks; nieces: Heather and Wendy; stepchildren: Michael (Sue) Enderby, Timothy (Lisa) Enderby, Thomas (Erika) Enderby and Kathy McCollum; step-grandchildren: Hali, Mitch, Anna, Charlie, Allyssa (Richard) and Amanda (Matt).

Predeceased by son, Michael Arnold; and step-grandson, Cal McCollum.

Calling hours will be held on Fri., Nov. 6 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. Charles Robert Perry

American flagMIDDLEPORT – Charles Robert Perry of Middleport, faithfully and peacefully concluded his earthly life and stepped into eternity on his 94th birthday, Nov. 1, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.

Charles was of man of quiet faith and service to God, his family, his country and his community. He was born on Nov. 1, 1926, the oldest son of Robert and Mildred (Buehring) Perry and lived in Middleport his entire life.

After graduating from Royalton-Hartland Central School in 1945, he served in the US Army for 18 months in Germany. After returning home he attended Bryant and Stratton Business School and began a career at Harrison Radiator as a statistician where he worked for 37 years, retiring in 1987.

In 1950 he married Marjorie Manley and they were blessed to celebrate their 70th anniversary on May 27, 2020. He built their home in Middleport in 1956 and resided there his whole life. He was an active member of County Line United Methodist Church and Cataract Lodge #295 F&AM where he helped with fish fries for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; his daughters, Susan and Jane; six grandchildren, Ben (Susan) Atwater, Stephen (Amanda) Phillips, Adam (Hannah) Atwater, Denise Phillips, Alicia (Bob) White and Seth (Renee) Atwater; and ten great-grandchildren, Marissa, Camden, Adeline, Lydia, Bailie, Elise, Nolan, Lincoln, Grant and Ashlyn. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Perry and many nieces, nephews and cousins who have provided love and support over the years.

He was predeceased by sons-in-law, Richard Atwater and Timothy Phillips, also his sister, Phyllis.

There will be calling hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bates, Wallace Funeral Home at 38 State Street in Middleport with a Masonic service at 7:45 that evening. Masks and social distancing is required and will be enforced. A service for family members only will be held at County Line United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The family is sincerely grateful for Hospice of Niagara, Liz, Allie and Michaella, their aides who provided loving and professional care making it possible for Charles to remain at home. Martha J. Foster

Martha J. Foster, 92, of Medina entered into rest on Sat., Oct. 31, 2020 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born March 2, 1928 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late George and Hazel (Wells) Bacon. Early on she worked for Loblaws and later in the meat department at Bells IGA. Martha married David L. Foster on June 7, 1968. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Medina and enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Florida.

Survivors include her son, Monty Hartman of Lyndonville; daughter, Sandra Thaine of Medina; step-children, Paul (Karrie) Foster, Brian (Norma Jean) Foster and Jeff (Deborah) Foster; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Sharon Bacon; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, David L. Foster in 2012; daughter-in-law, Diane Hartman in 2016; son in-law, Louie Thaine in 2002; and siblings: George, LaVerne, Harold, David, Charles Bacon, Alice Riches and Mary Albone.

Christopher L. Mahar

American flagGASPORT – Christopher L. Mahar, 55, passed away suddenly October 29, 2020. He was born May 8, 1965 in Medina, a son of JoAnn Mahar and the late Donald Mahar.

Chris was a 1983 graduate of Roy-Hart Central School and loved all sports, especially the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Notre Dame and the NY Yankees. Chris served in the United State Air Force and was a Registered Nurse, having worked at several hospitals in New York and South Carolina. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, outgoing personality, caring nature and his love of fishing.

Chris is survived by his wife of 19 years, Maria; son, Joseph Mahar of SC; grandchildren, Jaycee A. Mahar, Jackson T. Newton and Branson J. Mahar; his mother, JoAnn Mahar; brother, Donald (Sherry) Mahar of Lockport; niece, Olivia and nephew, Joshua; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St. Gasport on Monday, November 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. Christopher’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 3, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St. Lockport.  Interment at Hartland Central Cemetery with military honors.

James “J.C.” Hobbs

American flagJames “J.C.” Hobbs, 73, of Medina, passed away peacefully at his home on Sat., Oct. 24, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 3, 1947 in Medina, J.C. was a twin son of the late John B. and Miriam P. (Williams) Hobbs. He was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1965. He served as an MP in the United States Army, serving from 1968-70. He was a former Trustee on the Village of Medina Board of Trustees and also served on the Village of Medina Planning Board. J.C. had a passion for baseball. Having played most of his life, he built a wealth of knowledge about the game, which he loved to share. He loved Doo-Wop music, was a terrific dancer and always a classic gentleman. An animal lover, J.C. compassionately took in many strays over the years at his home. Whether it was a discussion over baseball, current events or his various theories on life, J.C. will always be remembered as a spirited conversationalist.

Survivors include his beloved children: Marty J. Hobbs, Jillian C. Hobbs and Andrew J. Hobbs; cherished granddaughter, Mia “Keturah” Hobbs; his twin brother, John “Jack” Hobbs; sisters: Lois A. (Thomas) Kenyon and Kathleen “Susie” (Roger) Sears; nieces and nephews: Denise, Darcy, Michael, Amy and John; and many friends.

John “Jack” Wadhams

John “Jack” Wadhams: Jack, born in Brockport, NY, the son of S. Edwin “Ted” and Gladys (Hoch) Wadhams, peacefully passed away on Oct. 20, 2020 at the age of 84. He and his wife of 61 years, LouAnne (Rogers), moved to Port Charlotte, Fla. in 1986.

After high school, Jack attended Oswego State College to earn his Bachelor’s Degree and continued at Brockport State College to complete his Master’s Degree. He taught Industrial Arts at Kendall Central High School for 30 years and was also the director of the Mask and Wig Drama Club. Jack was an officer in the Brockport Police Department and the NY State Parks Police and retired at age 80 as a Code Enforcement Officer for the NY State Park’s Western Region based out of Letchworth State Park.

Jack was a member of the Silsby Hose Company of the Brockport Fire Dept. and a charter member of the Ambulance Corps. He served as Master twice as a member of the F & AM Monroe Masonic Lodge #173, and was a member of Kendall Social Lodge #713. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop #111.

Jack was a wonderful, husband, father and grandfather, teaching all children through example to respect all people, be kind and generous and to do the right thing. He enjoyed all theatre, cooking and woodworking and was an avid Yankees and Cleveland Browns fan.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart, LouAnne and their children: Mark (Jennifer) and their children Ella and Evan; Beth (Jay) Petrino and their daughter, Sienna; Jill Nine (Ken Van Epps) and her children Kaitlyn and Eric; and Jodi Suares (Ron Middleton), her son Tyler; friend Antonio Suares III; as well as cousins and many special friends.

There will be a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church, 2230 Hariet St., Port Charlotte, Fla. at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7. A Celebration of Life is being planned but the date and time is yet to be determined. Glenn Wesley Humphrey

LYNDONVILLE – Glenn Wesley Humphrey, 78, of Lyndonville, NY passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the North Wing of Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1942, in the Town of Yates, a son of the late George and Thelma (Davis) Humphrey.

Wes grew up in the Town of Yates and was employed with the former T.J. Lipton Company of Albion, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Junior Wilson Sportsman Club and enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Wes is survived by two daughters, Christine (Donald) Wilson of Phoenix, NY, and Kelly (Kevin Dolan) Howes of Barker; two grandsons, Ryan and Justin; three great-grandsons, Camdeon, Gavin and Bryson; step-grandson, Christopher Harmer; siblings, Phil (Marie Kay) Humphrey  of Lyndonville, Clare (Dianne Burns) Humphrey of Medina, Paul (Linda and Jerry) Humphrey of Spring Hills, FL, and Yovanne “Bonnie” (Glenn Wesley) Allen of Rochester; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, David Reed of Medina; and a sister-in-law, Joan Humphrey of Lyndonville.

Besides his parents, Wes is predeceased by a sister, Sandy Reed and a brother, Weldon Humphrey.

There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience.

Arnold D. “Arnie” Mix Sr.

LYNDONVILLE – Arnold D. “Arnie” Mix Sr., 90, of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at his home. He was born on January 25, 1930 at home in Bolivar, NY, a son of the late John and Pearl (Nolan) Mix.

Arnie attended school in Bolivar and worked various jobs. He was employed for 30 years at Harrison Radiator of Lockport, retiring in 1989. He attended the Millville United Methodist Church and enjoyed 31 years of retirement traveling and camping with his wife, Judith.

He is survived by his children, Neva (Roger) Mahnke of Arizona, Kim (Keith) Kinne of Medina, Dale Scalise of Florida, Marybeth Hadley of Rochester and Todd Barker of Basom; a brother, Robert (Karen) Mix of East Shelby; sisters-in-law, Loraine Mix of Oklahoma, Beverly Mix of Texas, Janet Rook of Medina and Mary Schedder of Williamsville; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Mix of Lockport; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a good friend, Juanita Christman of Georgia.

Arnie is predeceased by his two wives, Beverly and Judith; siblings, Mural Mix, Lawrence Mix, Onalle Vickford, Neva Mix, Cora Bigelow,  John Mix, Jr., Leo Mix, Charles Mix, Donald Mix and Janice Willliams; and a son, Arnold Mix Jr.

There are no calling hours. A graveside committal will be held on  Saturday, November 7, at 11 a.m. at the Bates Road Cemetery in Medina. Social distancing and face masks will be required.

Michael J. Blissett

HOLLEY – Michael J. Blissett, 68, died October 23, 2020 in Mercy Hospital following a long illness. He was born May 28, 1952 in Albion to Arthur and Mary (McAllister) Blissett and was a life-long resident of this area.

Michael enjoyed gardening as well as fishing, and had a love for animals, especially his dog “Duke”.

Mr. Blissett was predeceased by brother, Arthur John Blissett.

He is survived by his mother, Mary (McAllister) Blissett of Holley; his brother, Douglas Blissett of Chili; his sisters, Rosemary Blissett of Holley and Kim (Kurt) Stahl of Spencerport.

There will be no visitation. Private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY, 14620.

Patricia Ann (Neri) Warne

ALBION – Patricia A. Warne, 69, received her long-deserved angel wings, on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at Rochester General Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving daughters and her husband of 45 years, Phil.

Patti loved her family more than anything and she will be missed more than words can say.

She is survived by her husband, Phil; daughters, Jennifer Warne, Theresa (Justin) Froman and Emily (Ryan) Hyde; her grandchildren, the true joys of her life, Ethan, Maya, Jacob, Devin, Kelsy, Ella, Cameron, Caleb and Gianna; sister, Nancy (David) Engle; mothers-in-law, Janice Cummings and Norma Warne; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Sara; her father and mother, Patsy and Vera Neri; fathers-in-law, Calvin Warne and Harvey Cummings.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion on Sunday, October 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. Please note the Funeral Home and Church will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.

Stephen J. Mazur Jr.

MEDINA – Stephen J. Mazur Jr.,  83, of Medina, passed away Oct. 18, 2020 following a long illness. He was born June 11, 1937 in Barre, a son of the late Stephen Sr. and Eleanor Mazur.

Steve was retired from Harrison Radiator.

He is survived by his children, Lorrie (Gregory) Lindke, Stephen III (Donna) Mazur and Mark Mazur; six grandchildren, Matthew Nicholas, Stephen IV, Chadwick, Andrew and Katharine; and his beloved dog, Bruzett.

The family would like to thank his niece, Mary Ann, for all she did and heartfelt thanks to John Levanduski for all he has done and being there for our father throughout his final years.

Donald H. Hilner

American flag(Kent)  Donald H. Hilner, 80, died Oct. 20, 2020 at his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born Dec. 4, 1939 in Milton, Pa., a son of the late John and Mary Ruth (Appleman) Hilner and had lived in this area for most of his life.

Donald served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959.  He was a member of the Clarendon Fire Department and was an active member of the Coyote Run Beagle Club.  He retired from General Motors in Rochester where he worked as an assembly line worked for many years.  Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He was predeceased by his wife Donnna in 2010 and four brothers.  He is survived by his children: Tina M. Davis, Kris A. (Butch) Armes, David A. Hilner; grandchildren: Rebecca (Charles) Boylin, Suzanne (Tim) Relyea, Elizabeth (Dylan) Boylin, James (Sammy) Davis; great-grandchildren: Georgia, Dominic and Jaxson; his sister, Janet Hess; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours.  His Graveside Service and Military Honors will be held at Mt. Sara Jane Coleman

Sara Jane Coleman, 86, of Lyndonville, NY, passed away on Mon., Oct. 19, 2020 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 15, 1934 in Henderson, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Ruth (Lewis) Kerr. Sara graduated from Medina High School and married Richard “Bud” Coleman on June 15, 1957 and they settled in Lyndonville for 58 years, raising four boys. Sara retired from M&T Bank of Lyndonville in 1992, where she worked for 20 years as Assistant Branch Manager.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard, who passed in 2015 and by a son, David.

Sara is survived by her sons: Scott Coleman of Lyndonville, James (Lucie) Coleman of Lockport, Steve (Rachel) Coleman of Lyndonville; grandchildren: Jessica (Dan) Volz of Medina, Ryan Coleman of Lyndonville, Alexis Hennebohl of Lockport; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Bayleigh, Teagan, Wyatt Volz and Corey Davis.

Relatives and friends may call on Sat., Oct. 31, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
