Zeldin dominates in Orleans, 3-to-1 over Hochul
Lee Zeldin, a Republican congressman from Long Island, ran a campaign for governor to “Save our State.”
That message resonated in Orleans County, where he outpolled Kathy Hochul by more than 3-to-1. Zeldin received 10,270 votes in Orleans, compared to 3,242 for Hochul. Zeldin received 76 percent of the vote for governor in Orleans, compared to 24 percent for Hochul.
