Zacher earns win for Canisius stickmen

Medina High graduate and Canisius College junior Tommy Zacher earned his first career win in goal for the Griffins lacrosse team this past week. Zacher, who is Medina’s first Division 1 lacrosse player, entered the game with Canisius trailing Manhattan 9-7. He registered three saves over the final 22 minutes as Canisius rallied to claim a 13-11 victory.
