Youth football season kicks off Saturday
Local youth football action will kickoff on Saturday with the start of the Niagara Orleans Folotball Association (NOFA) season.
The Association involves teams from 11 area communities competing in four age divisions including Beginner, Mini, JV and Varsity.
Saturday’s openers will have Batavia at Albion, Tri Town at Holley, Akron at Roy-Hart/Barker, Pembroke at Oakfield/Elba and LeRoy at Attica as Newfane draws the bye.
Games are scheduled for 10 a.m. (Beginner), noon (Mini), 2 p.m. (JV) and 4 p.m. (Varsity).
Teams will play an 8 game regular season followed by the playoffs on October 14 and 21.
