Young Shelridge duo scores impressive wins at Locust Hill Invitational

The youthful Shelridge Country Club duo of Ian Wagner and Melanie Green captured top honors in their respective age groups at the prestigious Locust Hill Junior Invitational on Sunday at Rochester.
Wagner, who finished third last year in the 12-13 year old boys division with a round of 87, won that division this time around firing an 82 from the Men’s white tees.
Green captured the 12-13 year old girls division title with a score of 76 from the Ladies tees. That score was also good enough to earn her medalist honors for all of the girls in the Invitational who ranged from 13-17 years old.
