Woodroe Yankees romp to improve to 8-0
The Woodroe Realty Yankees kept rolling along with win 17-1 against Lyndonville Orioles Thursday to go 8 and 0 on the season.
Tyler Kroening led the batting with a triple, 2 singles, 4 RBI’s, and scored 2 runs. Brody Fry went 3 for 3, with 2 RBI’s and scored twice, Tyler Allen had a double and a single, 2 RBI’s and scored a run, Jimmy Dieter a double and a single, RBI, and scored 2 runs, Colton Smith a double and scored a run, Kolton Fletche a hit and scored a run, Joseph Reese 2 singles and scored 2 runs, Cole Callard scored 2 runs, and Aiden Wisniewski and Theodore Champney each scored a run.
Callard pitched 2 strong innings recording 5 strikeouts, Allen had one strikeout over 1 inning, andDieter finished last inning with 3 strikeouts.
Reese earned a game ball for catching pop fly in left field and throwing to second base for double play.
