Women’s softball playoffs Saturday
Champions will be crowned in two divisions Saturday as the Medina Women’s Softball League holds its annual playoffs.
The ‘A’ Division playoffs will be held at Jr. Wilson and the ‘B’ Division at Butts Park, both beginning at 8 a.m.
The final pairings for the ‘A’ Division will be set after an 8 a.m. makeup game between Banes and Just Us. The winner will play Jr. Wilson and the loser faces Shortyz at 9 a.m. as top seeded Orleans Vets draws the bye. The finals of the five team bracket are set to begin at 3 p.m.
The opening round of the ‘B’ playoffs will have No. 4 seed Zambito vs. No. 5 Orchard Manor, No. 3 Jr. Wilson II vs. No. 6 Erin Townsend Photography and No. 2 Ho Jacks vs. No. 7 East Center Street Stop ‘n Shop as top seeded Albion Vets gets a bye.
