Women’s Softball playoffs begin Monday

The annual Medina Women’s Softball League playoffs will begin this coming Monday with a pair of games in both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Divisions.

In the ‘A’ Division, No. 3 seed Jr Wilson’s will face No. 6 NYSCOBA and No. 4 Medina Vets will take on No. 5 Tats & Bats. Both games will be at Jr. Wilson’s.

In the ‘B’ Division, the match ups will be No. 3 HoJack’s vs. No. 6 Cusimano’s and No. 4 Team Monte vs. No. 5 Buffalo Bio Diesel. Both games will be at Butts Park.

The remaining rounds of the playoffs will be held on August 11 with the ‘A’ Division playing at Jr Wilson’s and the ‘B’ Division at Butts Park.

In the ‘A’ Division that competition will begin at 8 a.m. with No. 1 seed Banes facing the Medina Vets/Tats & Bats winner and No. 2 Orleans Vets taking on the Jr Wilson/NYSCOBA victor.

In the ‘B’ Division, top seed Jr. Wilson will face the Team Monte/Buffalo Bio Diesel winner and No. 2 Mariachi will take on the HoJack/Cusimano victor.

‘A’ Division: Banes 10-0, Orleans Vets 8-2, Jr. Wilson 5-5, Medina Vets 4-6, Tats & Bats 2-8, NYSCOBA 1-9
‘B’ Division: Jr. Wilson 8-2, Mariachi 7-3, HoJack’s 7-3, Team Monte 5-5, Buffalo Bio Diesel 3-7, Cusimano’s 0-10
