Women’s softball division races stay close

Just past the halfway point of the season both division races in the Medina Women’s Softball Legue remain tight.

In the ‘A’ Division, undefeated Banes (6-0) holds a one game lead over 5-1 Orleans Vets.

In the ‘B’ Division, Jr. Wilson II and Mariachi de Oro are tied for first place at 5-1 just a game ahead of 4-2 Hojack’s.

League competition resumes next Monday evening.

The Wilson Midget baseball team downed Mmb 14-4 Tuesday as Declan Faeary had 3 hits and John Bender and Anthony Dispenza 2 each. Bender drove in a total of 4 runs. Dispenza and Steve Frerichs shared in earning the win on the mound.
