Winter weather advisory today for Orleans, with up to 2 inches of snow expected

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory today until 1 p.m. for Orleans, Niagara, Genesee and northern Erie counties.
Up to 2 inches of snow is expected, with the greatest amounts north and east of Buffalo, the Weather Service said. Winds gusting as high as 40 miles per hour will produce areas of blowing snow.
Today is forecast for a high of 23. The overnight low will fall to 12, according to the Weather Service.
