A winter weather advisory has been issued until midnight for Orleans, Genesee, Niagara and northern Erie counties.

The forecast calls for 2 to 5 inches of snow with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour. There will be periods of snow resulting in snow-covered roads and limited visibilities.

“Plan on slippery road conditions,” the Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.”
