A winter weather advisory has been issued for Orleans and Monroe counties from 5 p.m. today through 8 a.m. on Monday with 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo says to plan on slippery road conditions. “Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility,” the Weather Service said. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.”

Today is forecast to reach a high of 28, and Monday will only get up to 24, according to the Weather Service.

Tuesday is forecast to be mostly sunny with a high of 34, followed by a high near 45 on Wednesday and 64 on Thursday.
