A winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. today for Orleans County and Western New York.

There could be 1 to 2 inches of snow and freezing drizzle, which will result in slippery roads and limit visibility, the National Weather Service in Buffalo said.

“Slow down and use caution while driving,” the Weather Service said.

Today is forecast for a high of 24 followed by highs of 24 on Tuesday, 33 on Wednesday and 41 on Thursday.
