Winter weather advisory in effect until 1 p.m., with 2-3 more inches of snow
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. today for Orleans County and Western New York with another 2 to 3 inches of snow expected, the National Weather Service in Buffalo said.
“Most of the snow will occur through late this morning,” the Weather Service said. “Winds gusting as high as 30 mph resulting in patchy blowing snow in open areas.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions that will continue to impact the morning commute. The temperature should reach a high of 37 this afternoon.
