Winter Weather Advisory extended to 4 a.m. Monday
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Monday for Orleans, Monroe, Wayne and northern Cayuga counties.
Another 3 to 5 inches of snow could fall in those counties, the National Weather Service in Buffalo said this morning.
“Travel could be difficult at times with snow-covered roads,” the Weather Service said. “Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.”
Today is forecast for a high of 31, followed by a high of 22 on Monday, which is the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The highs will go up later in the week with 27 on Tuesday, 36 on Wednesday, 40 on Thursday and 41 on Friday.
