The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday for Orleans, Niagara, Monroe, northern Erie, Genesee and Wyoming counties.

There will be southwest winds 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the Weather Service said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few isolated power outages may result. Travel may be difficult in high profile vehicles.”
