Wind advisory in effect for Tuesday in Orleans

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from noon to 11 p.m. on Tuesday for Orleans, Niagara, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.

Winds will be westerly from 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Today is forecast to reach 66, with rain possibly heavy at times tonight.

Other highs for the week include: 61 on Tuesday, 54 on Wednesday, 54 on Thursday, 44 on Friday and 46 on Saturday.

I did stop and help the painted turtle get across the road.
