The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Orleans County from 10 a.m. Wednesday until 4 a.m. Thursday.

The advisory also includes Niagara, Genesee, Wyoming and northern Erie counties.

There will be westerly winds from 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph expected, the Weather Service said.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the Weather Service said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few isolated power outages may result. Travel will be difficult at times in high-profile vehicles.”
