The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 4 p.m. Wednesday for Orleans, Niagara, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming and northern Erie counties.

There will be southwest winds from 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph, the Weather Service said.

“Winds of this magnitude could lead to some downed tree limbs and isolated power outages, and will make the driving of high-profile vehicles more difficult,” the Weather Service said.

Strong wind gusts could make driving difficult and could result in minor property damage. Home owners should secure personal property, the Weather Service said.
