Wilson U18 diamond squad posts shutout
Staying unbeaten at 4-0, the Wilson U18 baseball team blanked the Cheektowaga Green 13-0 on Saturday.
Thomas Baia, Bryce Seddon and John Bender combined to hurl the shutout.
Bender also got the Wilson offense rolling with a two-run homer in the first inning.
Wilson later pulled away with 6 runs in the fourth as Bender, Baia, Seddon and Patrick Seeley all had RBI hits.
Bender, Declan Faery, Seeley, Baia and Luke Atlas each finished with 2 hits.
