Wilson track teams sweep Medina

Wilson swept to a doubleheader victory over visiting Medina this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League make-up track meet. The Lakemen won the boys’ meet 80-61 and the girls’ competition 115-22.

Mitch Mahar was a double winner in the 100 and 200, Mason Secor in the Shotput and Discus and Jarred Fisher in the Long Jump and High Jump to set the pace for the Wilson boys which improve to 2-2.

Connor Miller doubled in the 110 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles and Jack Hill in the 1600 and 3200 for Medina which slips to 0-4.

Skylar Munnikhuysen was a triple winner for the Wilson girls in the Long Jump, High Jump and Triple Jump as Emily Kelly doubled in the 100 and 200 and Grace Gerber in the 100 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles.

Wilson is now 2-2 and Medina 0-4.
