Wilson tops Medina to hike links lead
Defending champion Wilson doubled its lead by defeating Medina 213-226 this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League golf match at Willowbrook.
Improving to 9-0, Wilson now holds a two match lead over runner-up Medina which slips to 7-2.
Brandon Seider took medalist honors with a 40 to lead the balanced scoring for Wilson which also included Connor Seeley with a 41, Ben Kelly with 43, Nate Fox a 44 and Jonah Miller a 45.
Melanie Green and Hunter Sturtevant both carded rounds of 44 for Medina as Trevor Luthart had a 45 and Mike Cardone a 48.
Roy-Hart improved to 5-4 by defeating Akron (0-9) 251-264 at Shelridge.
Hogan Lang took medalist honors with a 44 for Roy-Hart which also got rounds of 49 from Brandon Hess and Murphy Lang.
Matt Martin led Akron with a 46.
Barker defeated host CSAT 235-256 to go to 5-3 on the season.
Brad Wilson took medalist honors th a 40 for Barker as Jake Meister carded a 45.
Joey Yakovac shot 43 for CSAT which drops to 2-7.
