Wilson spikers outlast Medina

A pair of overtime sets highlighted the action as Wilson outlasted visiting Medina 26-28, 30-28, 25-21, 25-10 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League volleyball match.

Jenny Meyers had 7 klls, 6 digs, 3 blocks and 3 aces; Rachel Blasius 5 kills, 8 aces and 2 digs and Izzy Dinse 6 blocks and 2 kills to lead the way for Wilson which improves to 3-0.

Je’ne Brown had 12 kills, Camri King 4 kills, Elle Gross 5 aces and Grace Masse 17 assists for Medina which slips to 1-2.

Newfane 25-25-25, Albion 22-18-14
Faith Morgan had 4 kills and 4 aces, Erin Harrington 5 kills, Bailey Boyer 5 aces and 14 digs and Mackenzie Perry 3 blocks to lead Newfane (1-2) past Albion (0-3).

Caitlynn Snook had 5 kills, 2 aces and 4 digs for Albion.

Akron 25-25-25, Roy-Hart 19-10-11
Defending champion Akron stayed perfect at 3-0 with a straight set 25-19, 25-10, 25-11 victory over Roy-Hart (1-2).

Alexis Bells had 3 goals and Abby Stone, Rebecca Breymeier, Kayla Wdowka and Courtney Johnt 1 each to lead Akron (4-0) to a 7-0 N-O win over Newfane (0-5).

Maddie Mocarski and Elizabeth Soles each scored a goal to lead Wilson (2-2) to a 2-0 victory over Kenmore (0-4).
