Wilson ousts Medina in B2 softball

Scoring in five different innings. No. 9 Wilson ousted No. 8 Medina 7-3 this afternoon in a Section VI Class B2 pre quarterfinal softball game at Vets Park.
Leading 4-1, Wilson put a lock on the win by scoring 3 times in the sixth inning on a single by Lauren Couturier, a double by Jenn Darlak and an error.
Couturier, Darlak and Anthonena Delisi each had 2 hits for Wilson which next visits top seeded Fredonia in the quarterfinal on Friday.
Destiny Satkowski had 2 hits for Medina which scored once in the fifth on a single by Courtney Bailey and twice in the seventh on an error.
