Wilson nips Medina in D Division lacrosse
A 3-0 fourth quarter scoring edge earned Wilson a narrow 9-8 win over visiting Medina in a Class D Division lacrosse game this evening.
Trailing 3-1 at the end of the first period, Medina rallied into a 5-5 tie at the half and an 8-6 lead at the three-quarter mark but Wilson’s used the last period 3-0 scoring edge to claim the win.
Jake Dunn scored 3 goals for Medina as Cole Callard and Gavin Dahlhaus both had 2 and Luke Duffina 1.
Medina is now 3-5 and Wilson 2-4 in division action.
