Wilson netters edge Medina in N-O finale

Wilson trimmed Medina 3-2 1/2 this afternoon in the Niagara-Orleans League tennis finale.

Joey Moote downed Andrew Fuller 6-0, 7-6 at first singles and Jacob Hecko edged Toby Kiebala 7-6, 7-6 at third singles to lead the way for Wilson.

The Lakemen also got a key come-from-behind win by the second doubles team of Glynis Curcione and Sierra Shepard, 3-6, 6-0, 7-6 over Haylee Seefeldt and Jacob Houseman.

Ray Paull scored a 6-2, 6-1 win for Medina at second singles over Mia Olear.

The Mustangs also got wins from the first doubles team of Kody Leno-Andrew Houseman, 6-1, 6-1 over Kyle Seeley-Nate Jacques and from the third doubles duo of Isaac Pace-Ari Cayea.

Medina finishes the N-O season at 7-5 and Wilson at 4-7.
