Wilson makes it 3 straight N-O golf titles

Wilson locked up a third straight league title by taking top honors at the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League golf tournament held today at Willowbrook.

Wilson, which made it 40 straight league wins by posting a perfect 12-0 regular season record, garnered 437 points to win the tournament.

Roy-Hart finished in the runner-up spot with 453 followed by Medina 474, Albion 518, Barker 519, Akron 527 and Newfane 548.

Medina’s Ian Wagner took the individual medalist honors by a whopping 11 strokes with a round of 72.

Wilson’s Connor Seeley finished second edging out Roy-Hart’s Hogan Lang in a one hole playoff after the two had finished the regulation 18 holes deadlocked at 83.

Wilson’s duo of Jonah Miller and Nate Fox finished fourth and fifth with scored of 85 and 87 respectively followed by Roy-Hart’s Murphy Lang and Albion’s Nick Penna both with rounds of 89 and Wilson’s Patrick Seeley and Newfane’s Tyler Wagner both with 90’s.
