Wilson golfers best Medina in N-O finale
Wilson bested Medina 253-279 this afternoon in a regular season ending Niagara-Orleans League golf match at Shelridge.
Nathan Meyers shot 46, Evan Mahar 47 and Michael Bubar 49 to lead the way for Wilson.
Aiden Paul took medalist honors with a 41 and Dylan Lonnen had a 45 for Medina.
Medina finishes the regular season at 8-4 and Wilson at 5-6-1.
The league title will be determined at Saturday’s All-League Tournament at Willow brook.
Final Regular Season standings: Akron 11-1, Newfane 10-2, Medina 8-4, Barker 5-6-1, Wilson 5-6-1, Albion 1-10-1, Roy-Hart 0-11-1.
