Wilson girls edge past Medina

Making a lone first half goal stand up Wilson nipped Medina 1-0 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer game at Vets Park.

Kayla Neumann scored the game’s lone goal with 11 minutes to go in the first half as Wilson improves to 4-2 in the league.

The loss drops Medina to 2-3-1.

Newfane 6, Barker 0
All of the scoring came in the first half as front-running Newfane blanked Barker 6-0 to stay perfect at 6-0.

Emily Foltz and Kayleigh Daniels both scored 2 goals for the Lady Panthers as Brianna Heers and Keelen Swogier both added 1.

Akron 2, Roy-Hart 1 OT
Akron nipped host Roy-Hart 2-1 in overtime on a goal by Jenna Robnett.

Roy-Hart had tied the game in the second half on a goal by Kayleigh Kuzma.

Akron is now 5-1 and Roy-Hart 1-5.
