Wilson girls down Medina; Barker bests R-H

Front-running Wilson posted a 64-39 win over host Medina this evening to improve to 11-0 in Niagara-Orleans League competition.

Rian Faery and Peyton McGinnis each scored 22 to pace Wilson which led 20-9 after one quarter and 42-17 at the half.

Rylee VanNostrand took game high honors with 23 for Medina which is now 4-7 in N-O action.

Barker 41, Roy-Hart 26
Building up a 20-7 half-time advantage, Barker went on to down visiting Roy-Hart 41-26 in another N-O game.

Kiera Dalton scored 11 and Mia Herman and Cole Carnes 10 each for Barker which is now 3-8 in N-O action.

Roy-Hart slips to 2-10.

In the other N-O contest Newfane edged Akron 38-37.

Elba 68, Lyndonville 55
Sydney Reilly scored 20, Hailie Scouten 18 and Lydia Ross and Mariah Ognibene 10 each to lead Elba past Lyndonville 68-55 in a Genesee Region League game.

Addison Dillenbeck scored 21, Ashlee Stephens 10, Lorelei Dillenbeck 8, Haley Shafer 7, Isabella Groves 6 and Shelby Boring 3 for Lyndonville which trailed 22-10 after the first quarter, 37-24 at the half and 56-39 after three quarters.

In other G-R action, Attica downed Holley 47-35 and Alexander bested Kendall 57-17.

Mackenzie McLeod scored 13 and Jaclyn Torrey 11 for Attica, Samantha Bates 18 for Holley and Alyssa Kramer 19 for Alexander.
