Wilson booters blank Albion; Kendall wins

Pulling away in the second half, Wilson scored a 6-0 win over host Albion this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game.

Leading by a narrow 1-0 margin, Wilson erupted for 5 goals in the second half including 2 each by Aiden Neumann and Keegan Hermann and 1 by Max Harmon. Neumann also scored the Lakemen’s first half goal on a penalty kick.

Wilson and Medina are now tied for the N-O lead at 3-0-1 while Albion slips into the runner-up spot at 3-1.

Kendall 6, Wheatland-Chili 0
Kendall improved its record to 5-1 with a 6-0 Genesee Region League win over Wheatland-Chili this evening.

Kendall took a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Jonas Rhodes and Pablo Rosario-Reyes.

The Eagles then locked up the win with 4 second half tallies including 2 by Brandon Barrett and 1 each by Jonathan Esposito and Brenden Eichas.

Holley 11, Alden 0
Holley romped to an 11-o non league win over visiting Alden as Chris Mosier scored 4 goals, Cam Kelley 3, Camden Mosier 2 and Chase Kempa and Gage Yockel 1 each.

Kempa also had 4 assists, Chris Mosier and Logan Gillespie 2 each and Camden Mosier 1.

Newfane 2, Akron 1
Newfane trimmed Akron 2-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League game on goals by Brody Miller and Chris Klumpp.

Newfane and Akron are now both 1-3.

N-O Girls Soccer
Akron 2, Newfane 0
Abby Gerstung scored both goals as Akron blanked Newfane to improve to 4-0 in N-O girls soccer competition.
