Williamsville South edged past Medina 12-10 this afternoon in a non league lacrosse game at Vets Park.
Brett Pecoraro scored 5 goals to lead the way for Medina in the Veterans Appreciation Day contest. Jake Cotter and Tyler Valley each added 2 goals and Aaron Feltz 1 for the Mustangs.
Will South held narrow leads of 3-2 after one period, 6-5 at the half and 10-7 after three quarters.
Pecoraro netted 3 goals while Valley and Cotter each tallied once in the opening half to keep Medina within one.
Now at 7-7 overall Medina next visits Sweet Home on Wednesday in another non leaguer contest.
