Wheatfield rallies past 12U Fillies
Wheatfield rallied from an early deficit to defeat the Medina 12U Fillies softball team 13-7 Thursday.
Medina jumped out to a quick lead scoring four runs in the first inning.
However, Wheatfield rallied with three run scoring bursts in both the fifth and sixth innings to claim the win.
Brooklyn Brown and Lacey Kenward both had a triple and single for the Fillies which also got singles by Lexi Hare, Micaela Irway and Faithann Vanderwalker.
Hare pitched the first two innings allowing only two runs.
Medina next hosts Cambria at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
