Barker Central School is pleased to announce that Grayce Weller will continue her field hockey career at SUNY Brockport this fall and major in Biology.

Weller was selected first team Niagara-Orleans All-League and earned All-Western New York Honorable Mention for field hockey during her senior year campaign.

The Barker faithful will remember Weller for her deciding goal in the sectional finals this past fall.  After 60 minutes of scoreless regulation time and 0-0 ties after two 10-minute overtime sessions, Weller scored the final goal in the shootout to lead the Lady Raiders to victory over Akron in the Class C sectional finals.

For her work in the classroom and on the playing field, Weller received All WNY Scholar-Athlete honors this past fall.  She also ran track & field this past spring for the Lady Raiders.

SUNY Brockport coach, Krista Archambeau on Weller, “I’m very excited for Grayce to join our Field Hockey program at Brockport, and think she’s going to be a great addition to the team.”
