Weather Service warns of thunderstorms hitting Orleans this afternoon
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a special weather statement, saying a line of strong thunderstorms will affect Orleans, Genesee, central Niagara and northeastern Erie counties until 1:45 p.m. today.
Winds in excess of 40 miles per hour are possible with these storms, with torrential rainfall that may cause localized flooding.
