Weather Service warns of high winds, severe thunderstorm
The National Weather Service is warning of high winds and a severe thunderstorm in Orleans County.
The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect from 4:10 until 4:45 p.m.
There is also a high wind warning in effect from 4 to 10 p.m. There will be westerly winds from 25 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 mph.
The damaging winds could bring down some trees and powerlines, resulting in some property damages, the Weather Service said.
One utility pole snapped at about 4:15 p.m. on Route 98 in Gaines near Intergrow Greenhouses.
