Weather cancels Medina wrestling tourney

A forecast of snow and strong winds has caused the cancellation of the inaugural Gary Gross Memorial Medina Wreslting Tournament which was scheduled for Saturday.

Named in honor of Medina Caoch Eric Gross’s, father Gary who passed away this past fall, the six team tournament was to have included Holley, Wilson, Maryvale, Williamsville East and St. Francis along with the host Mustangs.

Medina is now scheduled to host Alexander on Tuesday (6 p.m.) and visit Lyndonville on Thursday (6 p.m.) before hosting the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League Tournament on Feb. 1.
