Playing their third game in as many days (two of which were very distant games), the weary Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina/Newfane/Wilson Knights dropped an 8-1 decision at Jamestown Monday evening in the opening round of the Western New York Club Hockey League playoffs.

The home team scored five goals in the first period and eventually took a 6-0 lead before Austin Woodward (Wilson) scored his team’s only goal unassisted in the second period.

The effort in the season ending loss was a testament to RBM Wilson/Newfane’s resilience and team dedication for those who completed the three game stand. Kudos to Jordan Johnson and Max Pilon of Medina, Aiden Cronkhite and Noah Orenz of Newfane, John Peracciny, Gavin Ickowski, and Nate Downey of RoyHart, and Wyatt Bryer, Connor Woodward, Austin Woodward, Cameron Bryer, and Ryan Felicetti of Wilson.
