Wasnock to play baseball at SUNY Fredonia

Barker Central School is pleased to announce that Randall “Eddie” Wasnock II will continue his baseball career at SUNY Fredonia this fall.

During his junior year in baseball, the New York State Sports Writers Association named him first team All-State Class C.  He also led the Raiders to the Class C Finals with a 7-2 record and .75 ERA and earned All-WNY Honorable Mention and First Team All-League recognition.

As a senior, Wasnock led the Raiders return to the sectional finals as the No. 1 seed and was All-League for the second year in a row.

A three sport athlete, Wasnock also earned second team  “B” East Division honors in football and in basketball, he was Honorable Mention Niagara-Orleans selection.

SUNY Fredonia assistant coach, Richard Adams said, “We are very excited to have Eddie becoming a Blue Devil. I look forward to working with him. He has a tremendous upside and is a quality young man.”
