Ward signs to play baseball at Niagara U.
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Albion High senior Liam Ward signed a letter of intent this afternoon to accept a baseball scholarship to Niagara University. Shown here seated with him at the signing are his mother Carly Ward and Albion varsity baseball Coach Bruce Blanchard. In back are Albion Athletic Director Adam Krenning and assistant baseball Coach Mike Fahy. Ward, who will be playing shortstop at Niagara, has earned first team Niagara-Orleans All-League honors in each of the last three years.
