Undefeated (6-0) Wheatland-Chili handed visiting Kendall its first loss of the season by a narrow 3-2 margin this evening in a key Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

However, W-C answered back with a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes of the half by Lindsey Clar and Niyah Rosado to take the lead for good at the half.

W-C upped its advantage to 3-1 15 minutes into the second half on another tally by Rosado.

Kendall answered with a goal by Mitchell on a direct kick but could not score the equalizer.

Now at 6-1 overall Kendall next hosts Byron-Bergen at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Samantha Bates and Olivia Radford each scored two goals to power Holley to a 4-1 G-R victory over host Alexander.
