Voter registration event shifts to church site on Saturday
ALBION – A voter registration event planned for 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday has been moved from the parking lot at Hoag Library to the Pullman Memorial Universalist Church due to rain in the forecast.
As an added incentive, a token for a free peach sundae will be given to people who register to vote. Watt Farms Country Market in Albion is making the sundaes available for up to 30 people.
Representatives from the Republican and Democratic parties have volunteered to help at the event, which is co-sponsored by the Albion Betterment Committee, Holy Family Social Justice and the Universalist Church.
