Vets Park renovation work resumes
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – With the high school fall sports season now complete renovation work at Veterans Memorial Park in Medina has resumed. The south side of the field now has a wide open look as work crews have removed the old bleachers and press box. That is in preparation for the construction of a new permanent grandstand and press box. The first phase of the project, which involved the installation of a new turf field and scoreboard, was completed last year.
