Veteran trios lead Holley and Medina

Both teams are led by a trio of veterans as Holley and Medina will meet in the first round of the season opening Kendall girls basketball tournament at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Albion will face Kendall in the second game as the consolation and championshi games are scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Holley is led by seniors Alivia Wolf and Zoey Wolf and junior Alexis VanAmeron. The Lady Hawks are also looking to junior Ella Turpyn, sophomore Desiree McCormack and freshman Hanna Ostrom.
Medina is paced by the threesome of senior Honesty Hill, junior Ariel Smith and sophomore Alexa Demmer.
Following the tournament Holley will begin Genesee Region League competition at home against Alexander on December 10 while Medina will open Niagara-Orleans League action at Roy-Hart on Dec. 20.
