Veteran trio leads Lyndonville cagers
A trio of returning regulars anchors the Lyndonville lineup as the Tigers prep for the upcoming basketball season.
That veteran threesome includes Zach Johnson, Matt Hess and Nathan Poler, all juniors.
The Tigers lineup also includes seniors Richard Forder, Luke Isaacson and Brody Brown along with juniors Kane Flynn, Nohl Breeze, Ethan Breeze, Tanner Burt-Hodgins, Nick Keppner, Bryce Seddon and sophomore Nathan Hydock.
“We’re in kind of a rebuilding phase” said Tigers Coach Lee Dillenbeck whose graduation losses include the starting trio of Eric Neace, Corey Hydock and Jacob Hoffee.
“We’ve got a good group of young talent and we’re looking to be competitive,” said Dillenbeck. “We’re working to improve our shooting and our teamwork.”
The Tigers, which went 5-8 in the league and 10-12 overall last year, are slated to host Albion in the non league opener on December 1 and begin Genesee Region League competition at home against Kendall on December 8.
