A veteran group of skill position players anchor the lineup for Holley/Lyndonville as the Hawks prep for their seventh season of 8 man football competition.

Led by senior quarterback Destin Kuyal, who is a five year starter, that veteran skill group also includes senior running back Hunter Jewell-Smith along with the senior wide receiver trio of Mason Moyer, Vinny Golisano and Jacob Pitcher.

Kuyal earned first team Section V 8 Man Division All-Star honors last year while Smith and Pitcher were both second team honorees. Kuyal rushed for 637 yards and 10 touchdowns and passed for 546 yards and 3 TDs.

Up front the Hawks are led by seniors Kaiden Feis, John Kuhls and Preston McMillian.

“We’ve got a real solid group of players at the skill positions,” said Coach Wil Prince. “The line will be the key for us. How well they step in and come together will be big.”

Looking to rebound from last year’s 1-6 record, the Hawks will open the season at Bolivar-Richburg on September 6 and then host Newfield from Section IV in non league game on September 14.
